Uncle Gene’s is not only committed to loving God and people well but also to loving horses. For us, that component looks like horse rescue. Since 2024, Uncle Gene’s has been involved in answering the call to help get horses out of situations of neglect, starvation, and abuse. The beauty in this process has been watching some of the children who have experienced different levels of hardship or difficulty respond to these horses. They feel a connection to their story and are invested in their healing process.
Read more about the horses we've rescued on the Our Horses page.
If you know of a horse in the Middle Tennessee area that could use our help, please reach out to us at (931) 265-8806 or via our Contact page.
Every Easter we gather at 6:00am at the base of the cross to celebrate our risen Savior and take communion together. Everyone is welcome! Following the service, we come back together at 2:00 pm to enjoy a meal with one another; if you can, please bring a side to share!
It’s food, fun and fellowship for the whole family. We gather in the fall to enjoy a chili cook off, riding demonstrations, and games allowing a fun time for families to make memories together.
We rely so much on our amazing team of volunteers. Without them our staff would not be able to do what we do. Our volunteers help with so many different tasks: helping with farm chores, serving in sessions, or even just being a friend to a waiting parent. We would love to have you join our team.
